• Coming Out Workshop , 6:30p.m., SSB 3.406
This workshop focuses on issues related to the process of coming out for gay, lesbian, and
bisexual students. The participants will be asked to consider their reasons for coming out, explore
barriers to coming out, and review important issues that an individual should consider before
coming out to others. The workshop includes time for discussion and interaction among
participants and the workshop leaders. The workshop will be presented by the Counseling and
Mental Health Center and is co-sponored by Safe Space. Located in the Student Services

• Rest of the Rainbow Poetry Reading, 7p.m., UNB 3.116
Rest of the Rainbow (RoR) is a poetry reading sponsored by Trikone-Tejas that features the work
of queer people of color and their allies. People of all races and sexual orientations are welcome to
attend this event. RoR celebrates the beautiful diversity exisitng within the queer community and

This is an informal discussion about different coming out issues including coming out to parents,
friends, roommates, etc. We will also be talking about the role of allies in coming out. Everybody,
